No September 2011 meeting

The regularly scheduled SLUG meeting for 9/19/2011 will not be held as I am on vacation and was unable to make arrangements for the room.

Rob's Vacation conflict

Sorry for the short notice, but I hadn't noticed that my vacation week lined up with this months SLUG meeting. By the time I did it was too late to line anyone up to keep the rooms open and/or present a talk. I hope to be as far North as possible on Cape Breton Island by the time the meeting would have started.

Already standing outside?

It would not surprise me to fine a few people do show up to a dark and locked room. If you are reading this from outside the room, it's already too late, why not hang out a few minutes to see if anyone else arrives.

My suggestion is to walk downtown and visit one of Durham's restaurants for a meal and/or a drink.

In case there are a couple small groups, lets get people headed to the same place. How about Chinese food, located at the far end of the Durham Market Place strip mall? I believe the weather is supposed to be good, it might be a nice night for a walk. Either way there is plenty of parking near the Chinese restaurant.
