Free Electrons Conference Videos by John Platt — last modified 2008-08-19 09:30
Here are some awesome videos (ogg theora format) of a Linux conference held in Ottawa last month. I particularly found a talk on Wireless by John Linville interesting but I've been configuring a new wireless card and computer.
Hikarunix by John Platt — last modified 2007-07-25 16:59
A LiveCD derivative of DSL specifically tailored for Go players. The website also sells USB keys for about $9 plus shipping. You can play Gnugo or use their networking programs to play over the internet. I enjoy Go. I've enjoyed this distribution. I find it slightly mad, in a nice way.
IBM's LPIC tutorials by John Platt — last modified 2006-08-14 12:04
IBM's developerWorks LPI exam 201 prep page of tutorials written mainly by David Mertz but also Brad Huntting. I didn't see it elsewhere on the website.
