WSCA is the Portsmouth community's public radio. This is New Hampshire's only low power radio station. A low power radio station is a special FCC license for non-profits putting together a community focused media distribution system. Our Portsmouth Newcomers group has arranged a special backstage tour of the station and an introduction to Rick Dirck, the programming director. Come learn about what it took to put together a low-power, non-profit radio station.
WSCA is located in the brick buildings on Islington. It is tucked in the back of a parking lot, but you may see the sign by the road. Not sure that Google Maps has the correct location, so look for the brick complexes on the Southwest side of the road.
